Oricon 的排名出來了. 今次是破了個人大碟最高排名的紀錄. 順便貼一下以前的排名:

今次的成積再加上演唱會熱賣的情況, 最近ゆかりん的氣勢很不錯呢.

Initial impression: very nicely rounded out album.

The CD can be roughly divided up into 3 sections (also indicated by the inclusion of the interludes).

The first section being more upbeat, the second with more “punch”, while the last section is more mellow.

Personally I found the second section to be amazing. I already knew that “Amazing Kiss” was a good song, the ones that follows were outstanding as well. The great thing about this section was that it is a series of the alternate stuff that Yukarin sings. I’ve found that in every one of her albums her alternate stuff will always turns out to be my favourite songs and this time it was no exception, with the added bonus that there’re 4 of them in a row. I’ve always admired Yukarin’s ability to sing these jazz/blues/rock songs and her producers’ vision in making her sing these songs.

Currently my favourtie tracks are “Black Cherry” and “Cursed Lily”. I hope she will sing them in her concert.

Ticket sales for Tamura Yukari’s concert tour *fancy baby doll* opened to the public last weekend on the April 15. In a matter of minutes, reports were coming in on 2ch that the Tokyo sessions had sold out.

In around 10 minutes, pretty much all the online sites had sold their allocation. I suspect that maybe the allocation may not have been all that large. Given how hardcore Yukarin’s fans are, I expect that most of the tickets would have already been sold via her fanclub. However, this just demonstrates how much draw Yukarin has even outside of her fanclub. I’m just glad houkoholic is a member.

sent: I stumbled across this a couple of days ago and wanted to blog about this but I’m really not sure where to begin.

houkoholic:  I’m equally lost for words, but then again this isn’t totally unexpected.

sent: I guess we should mention that both Yukarin and Hocchan are part of the cast for Rumble Roses XX. But I still think there is something wrong with this image.

houkoholic:  Brief recap: Yukarin and Hocchan used to work together as a unit called Yamato Nadeshiko, and in several internet based votings by seiyuu otaku, they were voted as the number 1 yuri couple.  So I guess you can say that Konami provided the perfect tools to make the otaku dream come true.

sent: After finding Yui’s character so easily, I thought it was mystifying that Yukarin was nowhere to be found, especially for a Konami title. Having her voice the Edit character is sheer brilliance though. And hilariously amusing. It didn’t take them long at all.

houkoholic:  In fact it only took them 2 days from the release day of the game to come up with these videos….

Everytime I go to one of these events, it is a unique learning experience.

houkoholic and I were at TAF for two reasons. Horie Yui (mine) and Tamura Yukari (his). I’ve always wanted to go to a seiyuu event that isn’t a concert or live singing. It’s a chance to see a different side to their work. This also seemed like a good opportunity to get an impression on the anime fair.

King Records released on their official site details about Tamura Yukari’s new album, including the tracklist. The album 「銀の旋律、記憶の水音。」 is due for release on the 19th April retailing at 3059yen.

I know my counterpart already has it on pre-order so I’m looking forward to listening to songs such as “Amazing Kiss” again which she first sang at 「*Cutie Cutie Concert* 2005」 at the Tokyo International Forum.

Knowing how hardcore Yukarin’s fans are, there is going to be frenzy surrounding this album. Some people have even begun auctioning the poster for her new album.

Looks like we’ll be going to the 東京国際アニメフェア２００６ since both Hocchan and Yukarin are making an appearance for ”Bandai Visual present Emotion Special Stage” to promote ”Kashimashi - Girl meets girl“. While Kashimashi isn’t the most intellectual anime, it does have it’s appeal. I expect the crowd for this is going to be crazy given the sheer moe factor. The event runs from 12:40-13:10 on March 26th (Sun) at the Tokyo Big Sight.
