Minorin goes to Budoukan on May 30th
It’s almost non-news now in regards to seiyuu artists performing as solo acts at Budoukan when we’ve got Yui and Maaya having their appearance at Budoukan not so long ago and even GRANRODEO announcing their Budoukan live. I guess Budoukan usage fee must be getting cheap?
Congrats to Minorin either way, too bad I’ve lost interest in her music career since her second album from Lantis. I still think Lantis pointed her in the wrong direction.

Makes me wonder is it because there is a larger anison fanbase? I guess the artists/recording company/whoever decide paying more for a Budokan appearence is worth it. Most Minorin’s fans are Nanatards, meaning they’re pretty used to going to concerts I guess.
GRANRODEO’s fans are more Visual Kei/Rock music fans then otakus anyway. But still argubly the first male seiyuu to have a Budokan concert.
This is random, but I noticed if an artist has a tour and the largest venue is either Pacfico Yokohama or Tokyo International Forum A, a Budokan concert is on its way…

That’s because Budokan is the next one up from Pacifico or TIF in terms of seating numbers. So if they use the ticket sales from Pacifico/TIF they can judge whether they have enough demand to go Budokan.
