Next stop for Mizuki Nana – the Dome

While most will already know about the upcoming new album (Nana-chan said it should be coming out around May), the “one last thing” for today’s final concert at Budoukan was a summer concert at the Seibu Dome on 5th July this year.

While this is not THE Tokyo Dome we are talking about, it is a baseball dome revenue capable of seating some 36,000 people (Tokyo Dome holds 48,000) and one of the only two dome structures in and around the Tokyo area. This would very likely make Nana-chan the first seiyuu artist as well as anime song singer to have a dome scale concert.

Tokyo Dome and Kouhaku might really be just around the corner.

Wow, I’m happy for her. Too bad I’ll never be able to attend to any of her concerts, but I’m glad she has the recogntion she deserves.

Now I just hope to like her album as much as I liked Starcamp and Trickster, cause Shin Ai was kind of a let down for me.

    正直興奮より不安の方が大きいですが…

If they want a place with capacity of 2~30000, Saitama Super Arena Stadium mode is a far better choice in terms of environment, location, facilities etc.
The only reason I can see of chosing Seibu Dome is just because it is a dome…. (or maybe also due to the connection between 文化放送 and Seibu lions?)

    Agree

Just treat this as a practice run before the real thing (Tokyo Dome)

Nana-chan had changed her concerts schedule a few years ago. Now it is usually just Tokyo for summer and national tour in winter. Maybe it makes going to Animelo easier…..

Nana Mizuki needs a guest appearance in the United States T_T

  9. Jo Says:

Do you happen to know when the ticket sales starts for the concert? I will going to Japan in March for TAF, so was thinking I could buy them somewhere (?) if the sales started already…hopefully…
    Thanks!

I don’t think the normal tickets will go on sale in March.
