Mizuki Nana’s “The Museum” is Gold
The Recording Industry Association of Japan has officially recognised that Nana-chan’s best collection album “The Museum” as a Gold record in the month of August – this means that as of August this year the album has sold more than 100,000 copies since its release.
I didn’t know people are still buying this disk (it is more than a year and a half ago since its release!). But congratulations to Nana-chan never-the-less.

wow that’s great! XD
Makes sense tho, since new fans will most likely get this first, since it’s a single collection. I have 2 copies too (not sure why) :P

… I have 2 copies too. Or rather, I bought 2 and gave one away. It was totally by accident that I bought 2 too.

Wow, I guess that for an artist who is not as mainstream as others in terms of exposure and style, it’s a really good sales performance. Congratulations to Nana

NEXT. PLATINUM STATUS.
What’s the number of records that have to be sold to reach that status in Japan?
